About
I am a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Granada, where I work on Federated Learning and Causality. My research focuses on creating robust federated systems and trying to unveil the invariant structures in machine learning.
Before starting my PhD, I completed my Master's degree in Data Science and two Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Granada. I am advised by Francisco Herrera and Nuria Rodríguez-Barroso at DaSCI.
Outside of research, I enjoy reading and running. I am always happy to talk about any topics that you might be interested in.

Pre-PhD Researcher
University of Granada
Currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Granada. My research focuses on Federated Learning and Causality, with the aim of creating robust federated systems and unveiling invariant structures in machine learning.
- Feb 2024 – Jun 2024
Research Intern
University of Granada
Worked as a research intern in the DaSCI research group. I focused on developing a novel method for federated learning that combines blockchain technology in order to create a more robust and secure federated system. This collaboration resulted in my Bachelor's thesis.
- Jan 2023 - Jun 2023
Intern Software Engineer
BadgerMaps
Worked as a software engineer intern. Focused on developing backend services using techniques such as Kanban and Agile methodologies. I also got the change of applying Test-Driven Development, Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design practices in a real-world setting.
- Jun 2021 – Sept 2021 / Feb 2022 - Jul 2022
Intern Software Engineer
PapayaCore
Worked as a software engineer intern. I was responsible for developing full-stack applications based on express and react.
